Be Your Own Fortune Teller
Behold the dry ice crystal ball! This is a fun project that can be completed with household materials, and of course, dry ice! To complete it, you’ll need a small bowl, a bigger bowl with a rounded lip, Dawn dishwashing soap, protective gloves and eyewear, and a narrow strip of cloth. Intriguing? We think so! The first step is to protect yourself with that gear we talked about! Then, lay the dry ice, the size of about four ice cubes, into the bigger bowl, pouring water into the bowl about halfway full. Spread a bit of the dishwashing liquid into the smaller bowl, and smear it all over the strip of cloth, dredging off excess liquid because using the cloth. Finally, lay the cloth across the bowl with the dry ice and move it towards and away from your body, like a fortune teller in a trance. Watch as the dry ice, carbon dioxide in a solid state, rise and forms a milky white bubble, ready to burst into some fog in a few minutes!
