With a little imagination and a hint of dry ice, your adult Halloween party will be the best!

You have decided to throw your first Adult Halloween party. The sitter is booked for the evening, the costumes are picked out, and everything is ready for the big day. What about the food and drinks? Skip the store bought food and bottled soda and go for something to go along with your Halloween theme! Try some of our favorite recipes for Halloween.

A Bite of Fall

Almost everyone loves caramel apples, but everyone hates how messy they are to eat them. And no one wants to eat one in public so let’s take a childhood favorite and make it bite sized with these mini caramel apples. To make this recipe you will need:

  • 3-4 apples, use your favorite brand of crisp apples.
  • Cake pop sticks
  • A melon baller
  • 11 ounces of melting caramels
  • 3 tablespoons of heavy cream
  • A pinch of kosher salt
  • Toppings if desired

After washing the apples, use the melon baller to scoop the apples into rounded shapes. Place the apples onto a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. Poke the cake pop sticks into each apple and put your toppings into bowls for dipping. Next, melt the caramels in a double boiler or a glass bowl over a pot of boiling water. Once the caramels are melted, stir in the salt and cream. After the caramel is smooth, take it off the burner and allow to cool for one minute. Dip each apple into the caramel until covered then dip into toppings. Place them back onto the tray and allow to cool until party time.

Drink Recipe for Halloween

While any drink can be made with dry ice, why not serve a signature martini at your party? Try this blood orange martini.

  • 1 cup of vodka
  • 1 cup of blood orange juice
  • 1 cup of apple juice
  • ½ cup of orange liqueur
  • Red liquid food coloring (optional)

Combine the juices and vodka into a martini glass. Add dry ice to the glass, making sure to tell your guests to wait until the ice is melted before drinking.

Dry ice is a fun tool to add another layer of ambiance to every Halloween party. When used carefully, it can be fun and entertaining. To learn more about dry ice or to order yours in time for your Halloween party, call Dry Ice Corp today!
